I love your blog. Spent some time this evening reading back. Very fun, great humor, and good insights.
As far as what am I waiting for...I guess I'll have to keep teaching after school classes and summer school to save some $$$$. I have a Stumpjumper to pimp out along with the road bike.
Thanks Vito -- much appreciated. Unfortunately, I've not had as much writing time lately as I used to. I'm hoping to keep carving out a bit of time...I miss it, but life gets in the way sometimes.
5th Grade 18 yrs. at my current school. 4th, 2nd, and the last 12 in 5th. Two years before that in Foley and St. Cloud. Feeling worn down and ready for spring break.
Sounds like you're a lifer like me -- a couple years in SD then in Eden Prairie since then...4th, 5th, 1st, 3rd, computers and now library (and that one might be at risk in the upcoming year or two--budget) to the tune of 24? years.
I agree. I never thought I would be teaching this long. Especially down here in the cities. Anyway it has been a long haul and the past two weeks have been tough. A lot of stress, talk of cuts, more expectations, etc. Some sleepless nights, blah, blah, blah. Hope all is well :)
Celeste, in Italian, refers to the color of the sky...you know, like "celestial"?
It's a greenish sky blue, said to be based on the color of a Queen's eyes or on some wartime surplus paint that was mixed together. Mostly, though, it is the most beautiful color you can paint a bicycle!

...if you have to ask....
I like the Bianchi color. What is the official name for it?
Celeste (you're not a Bianchi man, are you?) -- has to mean something in Italian, but I can't find any English definition.
I love that "Bianchi Green" as I like to call it. I've always wanted to own one and I don't know what the hell I'm waiting for. Some day, some day.
Completely debunked
Shawn -- THAT made me laugh!
Vito -- whad'ya waiting for?
