That is what sick days are for. Sounds like you need to take a mental health day. Mental Health day = Cycling Day. Just don't back to work with a sunburn.
How about a strike? I'm an old union rep familiar with such things in school district settings! I'll organize the strike and then represent you when they discipline you. ;)
@Wheel -- yes, I always do but not without whining.
@Brother Yam -- how about if I throw a tantrum??
@LimesNow -- good to have someone in my corner (BTW...limes and gin?)
@Badger -- it's all about the now.
@Mike -- I would, but I was out for nearly a week at the end of last month...
@Tree -- you're laid off? Sorry to hear (obviously I missed that post or two! that was before I was back on the wagon). We can hang out together this summer.
And nothing better than a tall icy one on a scorching evening! Tanqueray (I think) has a marvelous gin with Indian limes blended in - one bottle and ice, no shaker, no stir stick.
OB, the company went bankrupt. Owners took all our money and the bank said no mas. Shame of it, the company was profitable and an industry leader. So, if you got bike, I got time. No troubles on the open road. :-)

Oh, that sounds JUST like an educator in late May! You'll make it . . .
It's not about "making it until...", it's about NOT WANTING TO GO TO WORK *now*... *then* will come soon enough.

I don't even have a job and I don't want to go to work. Geez.
Some days...are just like that. Only 11 1/2 days with kiddos left for us here in EO. Hang in there!
I call for a boycott!

@Jeff -- that's the ticket!
Hey, OB ~ no, make mine tequila! I'm a woman of the southwest - a true desert lover.
Guess I'm a woman of the woods -- Gin Tonic here...tastes like pine trees!

and scorching it is here -- two May blast furnace days over 90 degrees. I think Thurs. after work is close enough to the weekend....
Thanks for the tip!
