It's Too Darned Hot

Needing to avoid working on the research paper usually means I head for the bicycle, but today's 95 degrees and 40% humidity makes it feel as though I'm pedaling through Jell-o. Thanks to Trée over at Trebuchet for reminding me about Photo Booth. At least if I'm sitting at the computer I LOOK like I'm working...

...don't I??

CP -- hopefully not many! Some are a bit scary looking!

Jeff -- yesterday, a few of us actually headed out to ride in the eve after temps had dropped some...as I was debating whether or not to ride, one friend reminded me that it wasn't that long ago we were out XC skiing at -15.

It all evens out in the end.

Squirrel -- good for a midday humor break!

Yes, and there are more. Someday I'll post the ones of Mark and I -- man it was funny. Photo Booth gets me laughing every time.

If you can't laugh at yourself, how can we laugh at you?

Okay, I put my toe in the water and did one more. Suppose it doesn't take much to entertain me. :-D

Hey, with a haircut like mine, I don't need funny photoshopping to make fun of my looks. I do like your work though.

I told people on the humid days that I was swimming to work. When I'd stop, my head hankie could not keep up with the sweat and it would just pour off my nose as I leaned over to lock the bike. And off my elbow as I carried my clothes bag into work.

I stopped one night to get groceries in those conditions. I heard one lady behind me who was about to look at the fruit beside me utter the inevitable, "Eeeeyew". She waited impatiently until I moved.

Hey lady, I felt tough just because of you! Sisu.
