I Thought WE had it Bad....

This was Minneapolis on Monday.

It was a blast furnace: sweltering, muggy and windy to beat hell. But, South Dakota always wins the wind contest hands-down...be sure to look at the sustained wind speeds: The Life and Times of Biking Brady: Conditions Even I Won't Ride In

Hmm, it's still chilly in Las Vegas, but windy, too. Ninety four in May? That seems just unjust!

Much like us yesterday, I notice your "Feels like" temp was one degree cooler than actual. Didn't you just FEEL the windchill?

{Ah, come on, OB! You know there's no such thing as global climate change! Right? Some liberal must have made this up.} I foolishly rode on Sunday in wind conditions similar to this--my face is peeling from the sandblasting it got. At least it's not sunburned as well!

Yes, that one-degree windchill made things bearable!

We're back to normal today -- whew.

That bikingbrady can be such a wuss. He only rode 10,000 miles a few years back :O I see 60+ winds projected in South Dakota this weekend. I am thinking I would like to try it just to see if I can keep my bike upright.
