The Deep Freeze

they're in there
muffled

trapped
they call to me
and I can
hear
them
in quiet moments
they talk
to
me
singing my name
and when I let
them
out
we're here, Jeanne
they
hang
around
we love you
my midsection
for
weeks
and we'll be inseparable!

- The Rolly-Polly Bag has GOT to put in a few more miles this weekend...

Before I scrolled down, I thought for sure I was going to see donuts. Ice cream ... even better.

ice cream is easy. after a night at the second job at the liquor store working the cooler, the siren song of a cold one haunts me...

Trée -- the siren song!

Jill -- I can act sane around just about any ice cream flavor except chocolate almond.

BY -- ahh, the cold one. Hey, I recently got these great grocery panniers and can fit four sixes on the bicycle now!

For me it was a hankering for Chocolate and Brownie Frozen Yogurt. Maybe the government should fund a billion dollar study why we are all into the cool, sweet stuff right now? Maybe there is warp in the space, time thingy. Nope...it's just HOT!

Breyer's vanilla is my favorite vanilla ice cream.

You make me laugh. I just had some ice cream. It was wonderful with chocolate sauce.

Ahhhhhh, one of my favorite parts of cycling is finding that off-the-beaten-path ice cream parlour...Abbey's in Frisco, CO...The Whippy Dip in Decorah, IA... Ice Cream Cafe in Lake Placid, NY...is Selma's still in Afton?

I am a slave to my hunger

each morning I regret what I ate the night before

she is a woman with will
I fear that she has no monkey on her back
