jeanne, I am so in awe of this poetic expression of a profound thought so familiar to all of us. And the illustration is perfect. Great thoughts for today or any day.
As a fellow ENFP, I know what you mean. The idea sounds so good. How hard can it be??? It starts off well. Then....it.....gets.....icky. But it's too late to stop and too late to change and you're stuck with that idea that sounded so good, but is now so much harder than it seemed.
And hey, I agree with you about the nun. Don't go there. It never ends well.
Sue -- gotta wobble now and again, but I need to keep it in check so it doesn't go too far!
Em -- yeah, it all sounds good...actually the decision is still right, it's just busy now with one of our teachers up at the Iditarod and me being her point person back here -- lots of work outside work on top of classes. And the class work isn't horrible, but is more busywork than anything. It's been enough for me to give up some skiing days, though. I miss just up-and-going when someone calls.
Oh, and the blog went white a couple days ago...tan is tricky. Looked greenish on some monitors, yellowish on others and skin-toned on others. Bleck. I just want sand color!

Tired of straight and narrow? Whatcha aiming for stripper, or drug dealer, or bike shop owner?
straight and narrow is fine.
just throw a few squiggles in there ... for sexiness.

It is really difficult. But keep listening to your voice...
Snakebite -- even worse...OLD LADY LIBRARIAN
oV -- ...I'm just
so tired
of
it
Roberta -- thanks so much. Man, some days I wonder what the heck I was thinking! It'll all be fine in the end, but the end is a ways away.
Ruby -- good to hear from you, bud. I'll keep listening.
Yes, TOB - you have put words to some of my own inner fears - in such spare and eloquent fashion. Thank you!
A librarian. That's it! I'm calling off the wedding!
Ptelea -- thanks!
Lunatic -- it's just as well...I wasn't bananas about cohabitating with a nun anyway.
Yea, they just don't make the habits big enough.
Wobbling rocks ;)

BTW: When did your blog go white? Or is it just my computer??

Yo. Coming your way weekend of April 7th. Will be at One On One Sat night and will do the HC ride Sat morning.
'Bite -- thanks for the heads-up. Turns-out that's my annual spring migration south to AZ, back on the 8th.
Next time around!
I know what you mean....even good decisions get to be a drag. I always like the IDEA better than the actuality.
